Licensing Requirements

The conference offers sessions that meet continuing medical education (CME) requirements for various certification and licensing levels.

Note: This is Year One of the current 2-year CME cycle. All mandatory sessions must be completed before November 2025.

Volunteer Medical First Responder (SHA)

Required Sessions

  • Sessions 1, 3, and 4–9
  • FIT Testing (required once before November 2025)

Important Notes

  • A limited number of FIT testing appointments are available during the conference.
  • FIT testing registration is available at the Registration Desk.
  • CPR certification is not included during this conference.

EMR – Practicing SCoP License

Required Sessions

  • Session 2 – Airway
  • Session 12 – Mental Health (2 CME credits per year)
  • FIT Testing every 2 years
  • Guest Speaker Sessions (20 CME credits per year)

Additional Information

  • Limited FIT testing appointments are available at the conference.
  • Register for FIT testing at the Registration Desk.
  • Please refer to the SCoP website for additional mandatory requirements.
  • CPR certification is not included.

EMR – Non-Practicing SCoP License

Completion of these requirements qualifies you to register as a Medical First Responder.

PCP / ICP – Practicing SCoP License

Required Sessions

  • Session 2 – Airway

Registration

How do I register?

Registration is completed online through the registration link on the website homepage.

Simply:

  1. Click the Registration link.
  2. Complete the online registration form.
  3. Pay online.
  4. Your receipt and conference agenda will be emailed to you immediately.

Registration Tips

  • Register using your own email address.
  • Your payment receipt can be used for reimbursement through your agency.
  • Please register yourself rather than having someone else register on your behalf.
  • Complete your registration in one sitting. Leaving and returning later may interrupt your registration.
  • Group registrations and group payments are no longer available.

Training Level

  • When asked for your level of training, select one of the following:

    • MFR
    • EMR
    • EMT
    • PCP
    • ICP
    • ACP

    Providing the correct level ensures you are assigned to the appropriate sessions.

    • Online payment is required during registration.

CME Forms

When will I receive my CME form?

All CME forms are emailed after the conference has been processed.

If you have not received yours:

  • Check your Spam/Junk folder.
  • If you still cannot locate it, contact:

CME Credits

The Saskatchewan College of Paramedics has approved all Guest Speaker Sessions for CME credit.

  • Earn up to 18 CME credits by attending all eligible Guest Speaker Sessions.
  • Your credits will be documented and emailed to you as a PDF.
  • Upload this document to SCoP during your license renewal.
